Travelers ARP Church

last week we had some “technical difficulties” recording the sermon. Ok if you must know the battery died on the recorder and next week we will not be having our service at the traditional location.  The church will be meeting officially at our denominational conference center, Bonclarken for the World Focus Conference as we can’t use the chapel that day. Regular sermon podcasts will resume after August 3rd, 2008.  In the meantime I may post a recording of a recent evening home fellowship which included a short devotional.  Will need to do a little editing first.

I was encouraged to make this post after doing a Twitter search for “ARP Church” and discovered someone in New York was listening to our sermon podcast regularly.  If you are him and reading this they will return after this short hiatus!

There are several changes taking place the next 2 Sundays and I want to make sure the communications are clear.  The Methodist need use of the Chapel for these 2 Sundays.

First of all on the 20th
Morning worship will be in the Family life Center at 10:30.  This is the building to the left as you look at the Chapel.
Sunday Evening we are having an Ice Cream supper at 6:00 at our home, 5 Winsford Drive.  We will have home made ice cream for all.  If you have a churn and want to add to the bounty, feel free to do so.  Also, it is a great time to invite someone to come with you.  Keep spreading the word about the church!

On Sunday morning July 27th
We will be having our worship service in conjunction with the World Focus Conference at Bonclarken.  The service has 2 parts starting at 9:30 and 10:45.  The 10:45 service is the more formal worship.  For lunch we have secured the pavilion down by the lake so that we can have “a good ole church dinner on the grounds.”  Come prepared for the the worship, fellowship, and food.

There will be no evening service on the 27th.
